Marissa Harris

Marissa grew up dancing at Campbell’s Dance Studio where she fell in love with ballet. While there, she also enjoyed teaching Ballet/Tap/Tumble combo classes. She went on to minor in dance at Arizona State University, where she earned a Bachelor’s in Child Psychology and a Master’s of Education in Curriculum and Instruction.

Marissa has been teaching in some capacity, whether it be in a kindergarten classroom, working with other teachers as an instructional coach, or teaching at the dance studio, for the last 20 years. She currently owns her own in-home preschool.

Marissa lives in Mesa with her husband, Jake, and their three children: Spencer, Lila and Gemma. Her family is her world. In her free time she loves to garden, cook and of course, dance!
